This gallery showcases a wide range of the color spectrum from soothing earth tones to colorful and vibrant tones with a contemporary flare. My art is an homage to a long, proud history of the evolving role ceramics play in daily life.
For centuries, circular mandalas were used as a meditative, spiritual tool in the Far East to focus and still the mind. Archeological discoveries of ancient clay tablets in lands far, far away, include writing and pictographs to provide a durable, permanent record of cultural history to pass on from one generation to the next. Ceramic tiles are one of the oldest forms of decorative art dating back to Egypt in 4000 BC.
I can suggest creative arrangements to group several tiles or tablets side by side, horizontally or vertically to best fit the space you have available. Each piece is one of a kind and ready to hang.
