Symbolic and Abstract ($100 to $600)
This gallery is a blend of images grounded in the Real World and pure abstracts that defy a comfortable, known reality. My images may include familiar symbols with shared cultural meaning like The Tree of Life as well as visual metaphors that translate what we see in the world around us into art. You’ll see interpretive depictions of natural elements like water, ice, fire, lighting and the sun and moon. By contrast, my abstract art employs the pure visual language of color, shape, lines and texture which seeks to evoke emotions and inspire subjective personal reflection.
Included here are ceramic, mixed media and encaustic pieces ranging in size from 6 inches square to 24 x 36 inches. Each piece is one of a kind and ready to hang.
